If so, we want to hear from you! We are delighted to have an opportunity for a qualified Nurse Practitioner to join our forward thinking teams in the Inpatient Mental Health Units.
The current post on offer is working on the 16 bedded Functional older adult unit. This vacancy offers new and exciting opportunities to work as a Band 5 Nurse Practitioner within the services based at Atherleigh Park, a newly purpose built mental health hospital.
The new hospital houses 2 Adult Acute Assessment and Treatment Inpatient Units (1 male and 1 female), an 8 bedded Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and a team who offer integrated Home Treatment services. A 26 bedded mixed sex Dementia Unit and a 16 bedded Functional Unit will also provide care for individuals with problems in later life.
Our In Patient facilitates currently have some vacancies across all areas and successful candidates will work within a managed rotation across all In Patient Units, enabling successful practitioners to develop their skills and competencies in these specialist areas. We believe that this will support a truly holistic model of care for our service users and provide our Nurse Practitioners with a wider knowledge of specialised disciplines.

Our staff teams are caring and committed, with a wide range of skills, experience and abilities. We are looking for people who are committed to a career in older adult mental health, who will work as part of a forward thinking team and are keen to work in an environment which allows new ideas to flourish and prosper.
We are welcoming applications from both experienced Nurses and also from Nurses who will qualify in April 2018. This post is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check. Successful candidates will either have a valid DBS check with the Trust or will be required to pay for the cost of the DBS Disclosure which is £47.50 for an enhanced disclosure, the cost of which will be deducted from first salary.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
