North West Boroughs NHS Foundation Trust are looking for a band 6 Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner at Knowsley Psychological Therapy Service (IAPT).
The service provides high quality NICE evidence based IAPT interventions at both steps 2 and 3 and is a high performing service with a growing reputation for quality.
The duties involve delivering Step 2 evidence based interventions to clients presenting with mild to moderate symptoms of mental illness, providing supervision and support to Qualified and Trainee PWPs in the service and working with the service leadership team to develop and enhance the service.
The service benefits from high quality, modern clinical treatment spaces. Clinics are locality based to reduce travel between clinics and build relationships with other NHS services, particularly GP practices. Knowsley benefits from excellent transport links to Liverpool, Cheshire and Manchester.
The service actively fosters a friendly and supportive working/ learning culture. Regular supervision will be provided by the Senior Clinical Psychologist.
This post is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check. Successful candidates will either have a valid DBS check with the Trust or will be required to pay for the cost of the DBS Disclosure which is £47.50 for an enhanced disclosure, the cost of which will be deducted from first salary.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
