North West Boroughs Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (formerly known as 5 Boroughs Partnership NHS Foundation Trust until 1st April 2017), provides physical health, mental health and learning disability services across the North West region. The Trust employs around 4000 staff across our sites and also has a Temporary Bank which offers the flexibility of working shifts around other commitments.

The post will be based on a 10 PA job plan (7.5 PAs in Direct Clinical Care and 2.5 PAs in Supporting Professional Activities). The post holder will be working alongside another Consultant colleague in the same department and a number of other Consultants across the trust foot print .
The Trust is a teaching Trust with close links with university of Liverpool and Edghill university . The post holder will have the opportunity to take part in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. The post holder will also be expected to participate in the necessary supporting professionals activities such as audits in order to work towards successful Revalidation. The Trust is committed to the Continuing Professional Development of all doctors and appropriate study leave and funding will be granted.
The post holder will benefit from the support of an experienced peer group of CAMHS , adult, older adult and LD CAMHS psychiatrists within the Trust.
We are looking for individuals who are experienced and work well in a multidisciplinary team. They must also be excellent communicators. The applicant must possess the appropriate qualifications (MRCPsych; CCT or equivalent). Those who are within 6 months of obtaining their CCT by the date of the interview may also apply. The post holder will need to be Section 12(2) approved or eligible for approval.
