We are currently looking for a committed, compassionate Activity Co-ordinator to provide a high standard of care to service users currently receiving care within the Fairhaven CAHMS Tier 4 inpatient unit.

The Fairhaven Unit is a 10 bedded inpatient facility for male and female service users requiring support, risk assessment and rehabilitation prior to discharge. The Fairhaven Unit works collaboratively with a Multi-Disciplinary Team ensuring that high standards of quality care remains a priority.

The primary role of the Activity Co-ordinator is to support the Multi Disciplinary Team with the therapeutic activity provision on the unit. The post holder will be required to be imaginative in creating an activity programme to aid rehabilitation and recovery.

The post will be based on the Fairhaven Unit in Warrington working 37.5 hours per week mainly covering the hours of 13:30hrs - 21:00hrs in order to provide a programme of activity outside of the usual education timetable.  Weekend working may also be required.

Supporting the service we have  Medical staff, Occupational Therapists, Psychologist, Social Worker, Family Therapist, Teachers and Nursing Teams.

Successful applicants will be offered a full Trust induction and local work based induction.

Full access is given to mandatory training and service specific training as identified in the Management supervision process.

This post is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check.  Successful candidates will either have a valid DBS check with the Trust or will be required to pay for the cost of the DBS Disclosure which is £47.50 for an enhanced disclosure, the cost of which will be deducted from first salary.
