We are currently looking for a committed Housekeeper to provide support services to service users currently receiving care within the Fairhaven Young Persons & Adolescent inpatient unit.
The Fairhaven Unit is a 10 bedded facility for service users requiring support, risk assessment and rehabilitation prior to discharge. The Fairhaven Unit works collaboratively with a Multi-Disciplinary Team ensuring that high standards of quality care remains a priority.
The primary role of the Housekeeper is to support the Multi-Disciplinary Team with maintaining a safe and clean environment, supporting with nutritional needs of service users, supporting with the promotion of activities of daily living on the unit and participating in key meetings to ensure the service is delivering care as required to service users.
The post will be based on the Fairhaven Unit in Warrington working 37.5 hours per week covering the hours of 10:00hrs to 18:00hrs (inclusive of a 30 minute lunch break).
Supporting the service we Medical staff, Occupational Therapists, Psychologist, Social Worker, Family Therapist, Teacher and Nursing staff as well as domestic support.
Successful applicants will be offered a full Trust induction and local work based induction.
Full access is given to mandatory training and service specific training as identified in the Management supervision process.
This post is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check. Successful candidates will either have a valid DBS check with the Trust or will be required to pay for the cost of the DBS Disclosure which is £47.50 for an enhanced disclosure, the cost of which will be deducted from first salary.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
