North West Boroughs Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (formerly known as 5 Boroughs Partnership NHS Foundation Trust until 1st April 2017), provides physical health, mental health and learning disability services across the North West region. The Trust employs around 4000 staff across our sites and also has a Temporary Bank which offers the flexibility of working shifts around other commitments.
We are committed to providing safe, compassionate care and look to appoint people who are as passionate about patient care as we are.
An exciting opportunity has become available ideally for a trained Family Nurse or Health Visitor/School Nurse with Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN) qualification to join the Family Nurse Partnership team in St Helens.
This post will be a full time, permanent position, with working hours to meet the needs of the service.
The Family Nurse Partnership Programme is a national evidence based, intensive home visiting programme for vulnerable, first time young mothers. If you are seeking an exciting and challenging role and are keen to learn new ways of working and engaging with families, then this post may well be what you are looking for as part of your career development.
This is a demanding specialist role requiring high levels of professional skills and practice with the ability to work as part of a team essential.

As a Family Nurse you will be supported to attend the learning programme provided by the FNP National Unit and to deliver the programme to eligible clients.
If not an already trained family nurse, it is essential that the successful applicant is available from the 2nd – 6th July 2018 to attend National Family Nurse residential training.
There will also be further residential training throughout the year, plus ongoing training (local and national) throughout the delivery of the programme.
