North West Boroughs Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (formerly known as 5 Boroughs Partnership NHS Foundation Trust until 1st April 2017), provides physical health, mental health and learning disability services across the North West region. The Trust employs around 4000 staff across our sites and also has a Temporary Bank which offers the flexibility of working shifts around other commitments.

We are committed to providing safe, compassionate care and look to appoint people who are as passionate about patient care as we are.

Halton Urgent Response Services which comprise of Weaver Ward (female acute) Bridge Ward (male acute) and the Assessment and Home Treatment Team are currently undergoing an innovative period of change.  This has opened up an opportunity for applicants to apply for a variety of roles across the acute services including positions within either of the acute wards (static) or rotational positions across both wards. Alongside either of these roles there is also the opportunity for applicants to work closely with the Assessment and Home Treatment Team gaining experience of this service by supporting service users pre and post admission.

This is an exciting time to join Halton as we can offer applicants a range of new opportunities and experiences across a forward thinking and dynamic Borough.

We are currently in a position to be able to offer several posts within the Halton acute services including both part time and full time positions, with applicants able to preference their base ward and whether they would like to opt for a static or rotational post. We also have the ability to be flexible in terms of shift patterns.

Due to the variety of positions that we are able to offer we would encourage applicants to make contact with either of the ward managers/deputies to allow the opportunity for an informal discussion about the posts and for applicants to ask any questions they may have. Informal visits to the wards would be happily facilitated at the applicants' request.

These posts are subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check. Successful candidates will either have a valid DBS check with the Trust or will be required to pay for the cost of the DBS Disclosure which is £47.50 for an enhanced disclosure, the cost of which will be deducted from first salary.
