An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for NMC registered RGN/RSCN to work as Band 6 Nurse Practitioners to work in our busy Litherland Walk-in Centre.
The post holder would welcome the challenge of working within the Walk-in Centre team, treating a wide range of minor illnesses and injuries and providing health promotion and advice to patients and their families. Demonstrable experience within A/E or Primary Care environment and flexibility to work across shift patterns and Walk-in Centres is essential.
As a highly committed nurse, looking for a fresh challenge, you will have the unique opportunity to work as an autonomous practitioner within our team undertaking clinical assessments, providing relevant treatment and providing high standards of care to all who access our service.
The ability to undertake autonomous clinical examinations, make differential diagnoses and formulate treatment plans is an essential requirement.
We strongly advise that you attend for an informal chat which will give you an insight into the role undertaken by the Band 6 role within the Walk in Centres.
The Walk-in Centres provide a wide range of services to our local population and beyond and have direct links with Acute Services, Out of Hours Services and Primary Care.
The Walk-in Centre is open 365 days/year and the post holder will be required to work across all shift patterns.
This post is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check. Successful candidates will either have a valid DBS check with the Trust or will be required to pay for the cost of the DBS Disclosure which is £47.50 for an enhanced disclosure, the cost of which will be deducted from first salary.
