St Helens & Knowsley Community Learning Disability Team is currently looking to recruit a caring and committed Band 5 Physiotherapist, based at Willis House in Whiston. This post requires a skilled clinician to work in a well-established multi-disciplinary team. The team works collaboratively with a number of agencies and providers working with adults with learning disabilities in their own homes and/or a variety of community based settings.
We require a skilled clinician who ideally has relevant experience in working with adults with learning disabilities. The role may include working with adults with complex physical health needs, complex behaviours and/or mental health needs alongside their learning disability. Our aim is to reduce the risk of hospital admission, reducing health inequalities and improving health outcomes.

This post is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check. Successful candidates will either have a valid DBS check with the Trust or will be required to pay for the cost of the DBS Disclosure which is £47.50 for an enhanced disclosure, the cost of which will be deducted from first salary.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
