North West Boroughs Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (formerly known as 5 Boroughs Partnership NHS Foundation Trust until 1st April 2017), provides physical health, mental health and learning disability services across the North West region. The Trust employs around 4000 staff across our sites and also has a Temporary Bank which offers the flexibility of working shifts around other commitments.
We are committed to providing safe, compassionate care and look to appoint people who are as passionate about patient care as we are.
As part of the transformation in how we deliver fully integrated care, mental health services and pathways are being redesigned to offer increased accessibility and choice for our service users.
One of our key venues within Knowsley Borough is the Young People and Families Well Being Hub based at Knowsley Resource and Recovery on the grounds of Whiston Hospital.
Knowsley CAMHS will be based at this site alongside Young Persons Eating Disorders Services.
The successful Candidate will work with Senior Leadership to implement and embed the Knowsley Thrive model of service delivery to ensure Young People of the Borough can access the right help at the right time.
Services will work together to deliver a whole system pathway in line with the THRIVE model and National Guidance. The Model identifies flour clusters of young people with mental health issues among the wider population in the community who are ‘thriving’ these groups are:
Getting More Help
Getting Risk Support
In addition to Thrive, the successful candidate will embed a structured approach to safely identify and manage risk, promote learning and development opportunities and to promote physical health within mental health services.
The role will include some occasional work in the evenings and at weekends to ensure the service is accessible to service users outside of core hours and making strong links with a range of partners within the Borough.
The successful candidate will form part of the Community Mental Health Directorate’s Management Team and will be responsible for ensuring parity and consistency across the range of services within the Directorate and representing both Knowsley CAMHS and the Directorate at relevant internal and external meetings.
